Brian Beasley is currently the Legal Adviser for the High Point Police Department, a position he has held since June of 2008. Prior to serving as the Police Attorney, Brian was a prosecutor in state courts for 11 years. From 1997 to 2003, Brian was an Assistant District Attorney in Durham, NC. Following that, he was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in High Point, NC where he served until 2008. Brian has tried over 70 jury trials in Superior Court, in addition to hundreds of misdemeanor bench trials in District Court.
Brian is blessed beyond measure to have Jeana for a wife and his three children Christina, Elizabeth, and Jacob. When he isn’t writing legal updates, Brian plays bass and sings for the soon-to-be world famous contemporary Christian rock band “Francisco Road.” Brian also passionately follows the Tarheels, Red Sox, and Panthers.
